Toxins in Our Babies

Babies exposed to lotions, shampoos, and powders have tested positive for high concentrations of hormone-altering chemicals in their bodies, according to a study published in the journal Pediatrics. Phthalates can also be found in plastic or vinyl toys—including rubber duckies—and may affect reproductive development. Since manufacturers don’t list phthalates on labels, how are parents to know which are safe to use? Is this a wake-up call to our now bankrupt FDA? As a parent, are you fed up?
